The 2nd Russia-German Logistics Congress

The 2nd German-Russian Logistics Conference which was planned to take place from September 14-16 in Kazan, Tatarstan, has to be postponed due to organisational reasons. The Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation in Moscow as well as the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan continue to actively support the project. Within the framework of BVL’s BRIC initiative it is the joint objective to point out the remarkable economic development not only in the economic centres like Moscow and St. Petersburg but also in the Regions of the Russian Federation. The aim is to inform conference delegates about the opportunities resulting from this development and to offer them the possibility to make new business contacts. Fiberglass plant laid in Tatarstan’s special economic zone Alabuga
The first stone was on Friday laid into the foundation of a new fiberglass factory in Tatarstan’s Yelabuga. The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, the Free State of Saxony Vice-Premier, Economy and Labour Minister Thomas Jurk, Tatarstan Industry and Trade Minister Alexander Kogogin and others. On September 15-16, 2008, Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, will host the Second International Russian-German Congress on Logistics. The Congress is organized by the German Logistics Association (BVL) with official support of the Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany, Transport Ministry of the Russian Federation and Government of the Republic of Tatarstan.
