Round table "Development of Integrated Intelligent Transport System & Deployment of Tolls Collection Technology at Primary Highways"
On February 27, 2008 the Ministry of Transport is holding a roundtable Development Framework for Introduction of Uniform Intelligent Transport System and Mechanisms for Regulating Tolls Collection on Highways in Russia.
The conference agenda is oriented to foreign firms and individual businessmen who are interested in doing business or investing in Russian transport infrastructure with a special emphasis on new opportunities in developing and supplying intelligent transport products which should be integrated into the uniform intelligent transport system.
The event attendees will include government officials in charge of highways development, members of business development and finance community, senior officials representing consulting companies, road traffic contractors and suppliers, manufacturers of road traffic equipment, and developers of software products
The welcoming address will be delivered by Igor Levitin, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation. Other key-note speakers include officials of federal authorities responsible for highways construction and development such as the Federal Highway Agency under the Ministry of Transport, RF and Federal State Enterprise “Russian Roads”, State Duma legislators, representatives of the Moscow City Government, senior executives of Russian and foreign companies.
